Extra-Ordinary Ministers of the Eucharist commonly called Eucharistic Ministers provide a service to the St. Columba Parish community by assisting the priest and deacons of the parish in the distribution of Holy Communion.

The Lector Ministry at St. Columba provides a service to the parish community by proclaiming the Word of God through the reading at Mass. The Lector enhances the celebration of the liturgy through careful and prayerful proclamation of the Word.

The Music Ministry is an opportunity to improve musicianship, and return to God the talents He has bestowed. There is an adult choir, a children's choir, and a contemporary choir.

Ushers are Christian gentlemen who provide a ministry of service and hospitality during Mass. While some parishes differentiate between greeters and ushers, St. Columba uses the term usher to refer to both.
